On Thursday, March 20th, our Westerville Building chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) hosted the official NHS Induction Ceremony on our new stage. It was a very special occasion to honor the achievement and commitment of our high-achieving student body.
The students were selected based on their excellent academic standing, completed applications, staff recommendation, and most importantly, that they exemplified the four NHS qualities of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. More so this year than any other, we had numerous more candidates, a reflection of our high-achieving and motivated students. This year's Faculty Council members happily voted these students in without hesitation:
Nestaho Abdurashid
Najat Ajisafe
Prince Amankwaa
Isatu Bangura
Abena Bonna
Emerald! Elizabeth Burgess
Nahom Girmay
Blessing Gyimah
Anfac Issack
Hawa Kamara
Suheyla Nurani
We extend our congratulations to these students on this excellent achievement! Their hard work, dedication, and honor have earned them the right to be inducted into this prestigious society.
We would also like to take this chance to thank the staff members who nominated the candidates. Your recommendations and advice carry great weight in the selection process. And finally, a big thank you to the teachers who have consistently challenged and motivated these students throughout their secondary school years.
Finally, but not least, we would like to thank the NHS Faculty Council volunteers for their time and effort in this project.
Congratulations once again to our new NHS members!
