Horizon Science Academy Columbus High School - 2025 Graduation

On Saturday, May 24th, Horizon Science Academy Columbus High School proudly held its Commencement Ceremony for the High School Class of 2025. The event took place at the Upper Arlington High School Performing Arts Center. The graduation program featured a memorable lineup to honor the achievements of our seniors.

The celebration opened with the processional to “Pomp & Circumstance” by Edward Elgar, followed by a stirring performance of the National Anthem by the HSA 10th Grade Band. Senior Advisor Shannon Mulroy warmly welcomed the audience, setting the tone for a heartfelt evening.

Mohammad Mohammad, President of the Class of 2025, delivered the President’s Address, reflecting on the journey of the graduating students. Principal Ugur Zengince and Rumeysa Sarikamis from Future Institute shared remarks that inspired and encouraged the graduates. The keynote address was delivered by Ismail Mohamed, State Representative for Ohio House District 3, adding a powerful voice to the ceremony.

Our talented students Rayan Amin, Salutatorian, and Issa Abdelrahman, Valedictorian, gave moving speeches that celebrated their class’s achievements and aspirations. A Senior Video presentation by MAC and Mr. Harmison, which captured memorable moments from the students’ life and high school experience, further energized all in attendance with loud cheers during the slideshow . The awarding of diplomas followed, conducted by the dedicated Horizon Science Academy faculty members, marking the official recognition of the graduates’ hard work and success.

Senior Advisor Shannon Mulroy then presented the Class of 2025 to the community, symbolizing the culmination of their high school journey. The ceremony concluded with the recessional to Verdi’s “Triumphal March” from Aida, a fitting celebration of accomplishment.
