Patient Care PBL PSA Videos: Creative Messages on Health and Safety

Over the last few weeks, Ms. Rivas' Patient Care class shared a series of Public Service Announcement (PSA) videos created by her juniors and seniors. These videos address important health risks such as anti-vaping, distracted driving, repeated radio frequency exposure, cyber-bullying, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, addictive behavior, and more.

Many staff members who have taught these students before will enjoy seeing their latest work. To get everyone ready, Ms. Rivas shared last year’s most popular video, “Horizon Baddies Part 1,” which sets the tone for the new highly anticipated “Horizon Baddies Part 2.”

Inspired by shows like Law and Order, Baddies, and Maury, these PSAs mix humor and creativity while delivering powerful messages. The videos feature students Heyab, Haja, Ayan, Maillie, Fathi, Asia, Bayadan, Ayub, Evelyn, Oumou, Binta, along with Mrs. Forsbach and Coach Ryan.
