Westerville College and Career Fair Inspires Future Generations

The Westerville gym buzzed with excitement recently as students and staff alike gathered for the highly anticipated College and Career Fair. Organized by dedicated educators Ms. Rivas and Mrs. Hostetler, the event featured a diverse array of institutions and companies eager to share information and opportunities with the next generation of leaders.
Attendees were treated to a wealth of resources from a variety of participating institutions, including:

Columbus State Community College (CSCC), with dedicated booths representing their IT, Manufacturing, and Engineering programs

Armed with “Passports,” students navigated through the gym, visiting each table to gather valuable insights about college programs, career paths, and internship opportunities. As they engaged with representatives, they collected stamps in their passports, a fun way to track their journey through the fair.
"This event is crucial for our students," said Ms. Rivas. "It not only exposes them to various career options but also helps them build connections that could benefit their futures."
Mrs. Hostetler echoed her sentiments, adding, "We want our students to leave here feeling empowered and informed about the choices they have after high school."
The fair not only served as an educational platform but also fostered community engagement, allowing local businesses and educational institutions to showcase their commitment to developing future talent.
