Eng III Students Explore Creativity at Cleveland Museum of Art

Ms. Mulroy's English III class recently embarked on an inspiring field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art as part of their PBL project, Creative Interpretations. This hands-on learning experience challenged students to select a piece of visual art, analyze its elements, and craft original creative writing inspired by their chosen artwork.

During their visit, students explored an impressive collection featuring masterpieces from around the globe and various time periods.

Highlights included works by renowned artists such as Monet, Mondrian, Andy Warhol, Magritte, Dali, and many more. The trip offered a rich opportunity to connect literature and visual art in meaningful ways.

In preparation for the visit, students also participated in a virtual session with museum staff, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the art. We extend our sincere thanks to the Cleveland Museum of Art team and our STEAM community partner, Jeremiah Myers, for helping make this enriching experience possible.

This creative journey not only expanded students’ artistic horizons but also enhanced their analytical and writing skills in a vibrant, real-world setting.
