CTE Video Broadcast Seniors Explore Media and Campus at WOSU and OSU

Recently, seniors from the CTE Video Broadcast program had an exciting educational field trip to WOSU, the local PBS/NPR station. The students were given full access to the station’s facilities, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at how public media operates and learning valuable insights into broadcasting careers.

Following their media tour, the group also visited The Ohio State University campus. Highlights included exploring the university library and the fascinating Orton Geological Museum, enriching their experience with academic and scientific discoveries.

This trip provided our seniors with an inspiring glimpse into both media production and higher education environments, helping them connect classroom skills with real-world opportunities.

We’re proud to support our students as they explore their futures beyond the classroom!

Special thanks to WOSU and their excellent staff including: Emily Woody, Jan Pollard, William Mooney and Mike Meadows
