Culture Fair was a Blast!

The halls of Horizon Science Academy's Westerville building came alive last Friday as students, families, and staff gathered for their annual Culture Fair, transforming the school into a vibrant celebration of diversity and global traditions.

From 4:00 to 6:00 PM, the building buzzed with activity as cultural displays, aromatic dishes, and performances showcased the rich tapestry of heritage within the school community. Dedicated students and volunteers arrived early at 3:00 PM to set up their booths and prepare for the evening's festivities.

The event's success was made possible by a team of enthusiastic volunteers who helped with various aspects of the celebration. Student helpers arrived directly after school to assist with decorations and setup, while welcoming faces at the check-in table greeted visitors, distributed event maps, and guided families to the cafeteria where the main celebrations took place.

"The Culture Fair truly highlighted the incredible diversity within our high school community," remarked one of the event organizers. "It was heartwarming to see students sharing their traditions and learning from one another."

The carefully planned layout and schedule of events ensured a smooth flow throughout the evening, allowing visitors to experience all the fair had to offer. From traditional performances to interactive cultural displays, each element of the fair contributed to an unforgettable celebration of the school's multicultural community.

The event served as a powerful reminder of Horizon Science Academy's commitment to celebrating and embracing the various cultures represented within its walls, fostering understanding and appreciation among its diverse student body.
