Track and Field Team Shines at Fairbanks High School Meet

In an exciting evening of competition, our track and field team showcased their talents at the meet held at Fairbanks High School last night. The boys' team secured an impressive third place overall, while the girls' team followed closely, finishing fourth.

Both teams displayed outstanding performances, with several athletes achieving remarkable individual results.


Boys' Highlights:

  • 100m: 1st place - Caleb Kolie

  • 200m: 1st place - Caleb Kolie; 5th place - Regan Shozi; 6th place - Kai Fields

  • 400m: 1st place - Caleb Kolie

  • 300m Hurdles: 1st place - Hassan Seidu

  • 4x100 Relay: 3rd place - Kai Fields, Harune Colley, Abu Bangura (10), Testimony Fasakin; 4th place - Hassan Seidu, Sidikie Bockarie, Harkmed Rogers, Nana Quaye

  • 4x200 Relay: 1st place - Ismail Anifowoshe, Abu Bangura (10), Regan Shozi, Caleb Kolie; 3rd place - Ahmed Matan, Harkmed Rogers, Nana Quaye, Noel Owualah

  • 4x400 Relay: 5th place - Kai Fields, Haruna Colley, Regan Shozi, Foday Lamboi

  • 4x800 Relay: 5th place - Ezzadine Kure, Abu Bangura (11), Owen Adebari, Michael Ko

  • High Jump: 2nd place - Foday Lamboi

  • Long Jump: 5th place - Ahmed Matan

  • Discus: 4th place - Kevin Chukwudebelu


Girls' Highlights:

  • 4x100 Relay: 3rd place - Senica Johnson, Fatoumata Diallo, Haja Bah, Temi Afowowe

  • 4x200 Relay: 4th place - Haja Bah, Amara Ekeanyanwu, Senica Johnson, Temi Afowowe

  • Shot Put: 1st place - Temidayo "Glory" Owoyemi

  • Discus: 1st place - Temidayo "Glory" Owoyemi; 6th place - Aksa Kolie
